It attaches to the back and front of the gutter; it’s all thick gauge aluminum – no rusting and no bending or warping. Shur Flo X has ridges to “self- clean” through airflow; while raining, leaves might rest on top but won’t get plastered down. The ridges allow for wind to blow any leaves off. Your gutters will be completely enclosed so birds won’t nest. It’s available in 5″ or 6″ in white or dark bronze.
