9 Top Exteriors Color Picks for 2023

Kristin is the Carlson Exteriors in-house designer. She named her top 9 exterior color combinations for 2023. While any siding color can look great, Kristin said she’s been favoring the greens and blues this year. The past few years have been inundated with whites, blacks, and grey, the craving for a touch of color seems to be creeping in.

Please note: the below color combinations are not in any particular hierarchy.

Misty Shadow Siding, Desert Sand Trim, and Moire Black Roof

We’ve frequently only found Misty Shadow paired with a white trim or bronze trim. The Desert Sand trim breathes new life into this customer favorite siding.

Vintage Dublin, Black Trim, Moire Black Roof

Vintage Dublin is a rich, luxurious green siding color. Black trim and natural textures (think wood or stone) pair nicely with this green siding.

Silver Grey Siding with White Trim

Silver grey is siding color that has stood the test of times. It always looks stunning paired with white trim and black roof.

Ironstone, Deep Granite, and White

The powerful trifecta of Ironstone dark grey siding, Deep Granite Grey Shakes, and White trim make a failsafe color choice.

Wedgewood and White

Wedgewood siding is a darker blue and is the perfect pick if you like darker colors but are not interested in a grey color.

Pebblestone Clay, White, and Terra Bronze

Pebblestone Clay Siding, white trim, Bronze gutters, bronze garage door, and weathered wood roof.

Pebblestone Clay siding is a tan or light brown siding color that makes a great neutral. Doing white and Bronze accents with a pebble stone clay siding really make your home a standout.

Riverway Blue siding

Riverway is a dark blue siding that really pops when paired with white trim.

Scottish Thistle Siding

Scottish Thistle is lighter green siding and works well with many different trim options. Favorites are Black and White for time options.

Toasted Almond and White

Toasted Almond siding is a color you don’t see very often but it’s a great brown color that is in between Pebblestone Clay and Montana Suede siding.
