We decided to reminisce on our favorite remodels from the previous year.
This lovely home underwent a huge transformation in replacing the old blue cedar siding with vinyl siding in Classic Cream. They replaced their garage door with a new garage door in a wood look but without the maintenance of the wood. The homeowners knew they wanted special order Copper Penny seamless gutters and downspouts and waited almost 9 months (thanks 2021-2022 supply shortages). Everything was worth the wait!
This Lake house got a complete remodel with new roof, new windows, new entry doors, new siding, and new gutters. The siding went from a bleached out yellow to a rich and dark siding color called Deep Cavern. This vinyl siding has extra special siding technology in it to preserve this dark siding color from fading; it has an additional siding warranty just for fade protection. The metal roof is a “Mill” color which means no color coating is applied on top – just the pure beauty of the metal roof.
This charming ranch home was tired of the maintenance of cedar siding. The homeowner picked Royal’s Board and Batten (vertical siding) in Wedgewood which is a darker blue siding. They used a small accent of Cedar Discovery Perfection in Red Cedar for a pop of color.
The old hard board on this home was failing and rotting the sheeting underneath. Our crew tore out the old and installed new LP Smartside 4×8 stucco sheets in a custom color to match the previous color. Decorative trim boards were added in a custom color to match the trim on other parts of the home. The new work just blends right in 🙂
The tricky part of this siding repalcement was the original architecture of this home slightly steps the walls out. Our crew had to fabricate a custom aluminum piece to aide the visual stepping out of the siding. The porch was completely redone in custom cedar work to create a focal point.
